True story sold. Allardyce played in the NASL for the tampa bay "rowdies" (I have no fucking clue what a rowdy is) it was watching the bucs practice where he developed an affinity for stats in coaching

You statement got about not knowing what a rowdy was got me curious
"Rowdy" the noun came before the adjective it seems.
Might be like "row" from "Rowdy-dow" - the sound of a drum
eg. From the British Magazine and Review in 1783 -
"How happy the soldier who..pays all his debts with the roll of his drums. With a row-de-dow, &c."

Geno smith out for 6-10 weeks after a teammate ounched him in the locker room! What a shambles they are!! If they had even a half decent qb they would be a contender! Same as the bills!
